Welcome to 'Callalily Lops' -home to cheeky & cuddly Miniature Lops in Agouti & Sooty Fawn. Est.2007.

 

I have to thank Jan at Willowtree Stud (www.willowtreestud.co.uk) for my first three 'show style' (lol!) Miniature Lops, Oliver -Phoebe -Annabell. These three bunnies were my first look into the exhibition standard Miniature Lops and I feel so lucky to have them at Callalily. Thankyou Jan xxx 

My cuddly bunnies live in large, spacious & luxury indoor homes -homes that meet and/or exceed welfare requirements. They all have daily exercise outdoors in secure, spacious runs or indoors in a secure, spacious indoor area. Also, they all get to come into the house for lots of social time on a regular basis. I'm Charlotte-Louise, 18 years old and a member of the British Rabbit Council (Member Number: CM7483), soon to be a member of the National Miniature Lop Club. Here, I show off my beautiful bunnies in a beautiful set-up in the South Lincolnshire countryside.

I am aiming for respected, strong, healthy generations of purebred Callalily Lops bred for health, temperament, type & colour to the BRC Standards. All the Callalily bunnies are bred for loving, cuddly pets and some Callalily children will be potential show/breeding bunnies although I usually keep my best little ones!

I am dedicated to improving the health, temperament, type & colour of the 2 little Lop varieties through careful breeding, high-standard/thorough care & plenty of that special ingredient that makes all rabbits cuddly, sociable & perfect companions ---> love & cuddles!

I take pride in my Lops having outstanding temperaments & awesome characters! This is something all new owners of my babies notice, sociable, cuddly & cheeky bunnies! You'll never find any inbreeding in the Callalily generations as I don't think it is necessary -I aim for strong, healthy & happy bunnies and do not agree with inbreeding/line breeding.

 Initial aims are to improve the breeds I represent - how? By selecting complimenting purebred pairs to ensure that every litter is better and further towards that complicating word of 'perfect' although no rabbit is technically 'perfect' (although of course I think my bunnies are all perfect in their own ways), striving safely towards perfection is the way to go to improving & representing each breed as it truly should be.

I am proud of the attention to detail given in the daily care & management of my bunnies, a proud owner of very happy & healthy bunnies! 'Callalily Lops' is not a large or commercial 'stud' or business but I am a very small-scale, caring & dedicated hobbyist breeder/exhibitor, breeding to extend, improve & eventually maintain my lines of spoilt & pampered bunnies.  Each rabbit counts as an individual -they are my pets firstly, but show themselves off as 'exhibition superstars' as often as they get the chance plus having their own children to love & care for in return for being spoilt & well and truly loved & pampered!
